We deliver high quality, relevant, thoughtfully prepared dishes and products made with locally produced ingredients and delivered with service excellence.From banquets to barbeques, pancake breakfasts to boardroom lunches, cocktail receptions to conference catering, A Cappella Catering is known for delicious food, exceptional services, and superior value.A Cappella Catering seeks an enthusiastic individual with a passion for the hospitality industry and customer service to join our front of house team as a Catering Event Coordinator.You’ll play a integral role in developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure client loyalty and the delivery of superior service standards. As a Catering Event Coordinator for A Cappella Catering you will contribute to an unforgettable dining experience.We expect you to:

Role Responsibilities:
  • General office tasks: incoming calls, order processing, customer service, etc
  • Provide consult to customers booking catered events and prepare service quotes and confirmations
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency
  • Accurately enter event information and requirements
  • Possess strong product and menu knowledge
  • Complete required side duties
  • Coordinate set-up and manage execution of off-site events
  • Liaise with the Chef to ensure clients’ dietary needs and requests are met
  • Assist and support colleagues and ownership group with event related projects
Role Requirements: - Computer proficiency required: Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Apps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional phone and email etiquette/manner
  • Strong organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills with an attention to detail
  • Ability to manage stress during high volume periods
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and work with minimal supervision
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License required
  • ProServe Certification
Role Qualifications:
  • Previous experience or event coordinating within the hospitality environment is an asset and preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience supervising and managing staff
