Job Description

Kepler Academy is looking for Educational Assistants at our Cavanagh location.This is a Full-time opportunity working with pre-school age child.Time: 8:30am - 5:30pmWhy should you be a part of Kepler Academy

What will you doThe Educational Assistant will be responsible the care of children in our centre location, ensuring a positive experience for the children and ensuring safety, learning, and growth are top priorities. This position will also be responsible for dedicated one-on-one care for children with special needs.What do we need from youAs an Educational Assistant, we are looking for passionate individuals with in-depth knowledge and ways for shaping young minds with special needs. You will play an integral role in families lives by providing an enriched experience for children.You will posses the following:

  • Solid knowledge & understanding of the Provincial Child Care Regulations
  • Play as a team player
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to respond to urgent needs
Required Qualifications to Work at Kepler Academy
  • Previous experience with children with specialized learning
  • Child Development certificate issued in the Province of Alberta, Level 1, 2 or 3 is an asset
  • Standard First Aid certificate
  • Current criminal record check, including vulnerable sector search
