GrizzlyTrek invest in our people, our relationships and our partners, ensuring ready to work individuals meet job opportunities that create lasting success for them and our business partnersChemical Driving Operator for Plant ShutdownLocation: Fort Saskatchewan, ABDuration: September 8th to September 25th, 2024Position: Chemical Driving Operators (6 Positions Available)Job Overview:GrizzlyTrek is seeking six skilled Chemical Driving Operators for a critical plant shutdown project in Fort Saskatchewan. This role is ideal for experienced operators who prioritize safety and are capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Join our dedicated team and contribute to the successful completion of this essential project.Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport chemicals to and from the plant site.
  • Operate vehicles in strict compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the shutdown team to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
  • Provide additional support as needed during the shutdown period.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in chemical transportation is highly desirable.
  • Possession of the following safety tickets: CSTS, H2S Alive, and SCBA or respirator certification.
  • Strong commitment to safety, with a diligent approach to following all safety protocols.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, with overtime compensation after 8 hours per day and 44 hours per week.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
