Job Description

Class 1 Or Class 3 Gravel Truck DriverDynamic Asphalt Services Inc. is road repair company that provides Asphalt Spray Patching services in Alberta and British Columbia with our primary office in the heart of the Shuswap, located in Sorrento, B.C. The majority of our contracts are with government related parties, requiring continuous travel throughout Alberta and BC from April to November.We are seeking outstanding candidates who will help us to continue to grow and meet the demands for our valued services. These candidates must be exceptional team players, and must be willing to travel and live in shared travel trailer accommodations with the rest of our team for the full road repair season (typically April to November). Exceptional individuals will be offered continued employment opportunities for 2022 and beyond.For the 2021 season, we are currently hiring for the following position with a start date of May 17th.Class 1 Or Class 3 Gravel Truck Driver

  • Gravel truck driver required.
  • Opportunities to learn, drive, and operate an Asphalt Spray Patch truck.
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 DL with clear drivers abstract.
  • Minimum 1-years highway/mountain experience.
  • Previous road construction and/or repair experience would be considered an asset.
  • Must be willing to travel and live in shared travel trailer accommodations for the full road repair season (typically April to November).
  • Must have active cell phone to use while working.
Skills, Assets and Abilities
  • Current clean drivers abstract for previous 5 years.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent work ethic, team player.
  • Common sense, able to identify hazards and be able to respond appropriately and safely.
  • Able to use a GPS system.
  • Mechanically inclined; able recognize problems, and to operate various types of equipment is an asset.
  • Punctual, clean, and reliable.
