We are seeking a leader that motivates, inspires and focuses on the best quality care for residents at various sites throughout Alberta.As the Clinical Operations Manager, you will...

  • Reporting to the Director of Operationsamp; Clinical Quality you will oversees performance management of directors of care at multiple seniors living facilities across Alberta
  • Reviews site specific incident trends, indicators, audits, and resident/family feedback to identify improvement opportunities
  • Support site-specific Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) in collaboration with the Directors of Care and site quality team
  • Supports Directors of Care in executing QIPs, education rollouts, and clinical initiatives
  • Authors or oversees updates to clinical policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Mentors Directors of Care and site quality team on evidence-based practices and improvement cycles
  • Conduct Clinical Audits semi-annually at all sites
  • Participates in quality assurance activities
  • Participates in staff meetings on a regular and as needed basis to maintain communication verbally and in writing
  • Visits facilities and delivers Education programming
What will you bring to the Asura Health and Advantage Assist Team
  • You must have a current and clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector search (or be willing to obtain one) and have all current and up-to-date immunization records
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure
  • Nurse operations / leadership experience in supportive living
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience is required
  • Expertise in clinical quality standards, clinical quality measures, regulatory updates and accreditation
  • You are creative, flexible and have critical thinking skills
  • Exhibit patience and understanding towards the needs of residents
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and eager
  • Valid class 5 driver #39;s license, with proper registration and insurance for own vehicle
  • Open to periodic travel to Rural Alberta sites
