Key Responsibilities
  • Financial record-keeping for various clients including processing of payables, receivables and payroll and recording of general journal entries as required
  • Preparation of GST and other tax returns as required
  • Completion of bank and other account reconciliations
  • Preparation and generation of periodic client reporting packages
  • Provision of bookkeeping and software support services to clients
  • Completion of other accounting related duties as required
  • Development of documentation of bookkeeping workflows
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years full cycle accounting experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of cloud accounting software including Quickbooks Online, Xero and various related apps, as well as an interest in technology and innovation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with adaptability to changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professional manner and ability to work independently and in a team environment
