This role will require a flexible individual to adapt to the growth of the business!What we offer!Competitive wages.Health and Dental benefits.An education reimbursement program.A corporate culture unlike any other.The Role: Commercial Account ManagerAs a Commercial Account Manager assisting our Whitehorse location, you will interact with commercial clients, maintain professional business relationships with new and existing clients and insurers and manage an entire book of business. We are looking for folks throughout Alberta who would be interested in providing support via one of our many branches or through relocating to beautiful Whitehorse!A Day In The Life -Provide exceptional client care as primary client service contact.Prepare submissions in Policy Works and EPIC.Prepare proposals, cover notes, client correspondence, certificates, and invoices as per agency standards.Assist Account Teams with various administrative functions.Review and prioritize all assigned tasks on a daily basis including, company mail, emails, abeyances/activities.Maintain accuracy of electronic files that may be housed in EPIC, Policy Works, Certificate Exchange and physical files as per agency standards.Manage the Marketing of accounts to include new, renewal, and midterm changes.Collect data from the client, create an expert submission to be presented, negotiate suitable rates and coverages with company underwriters, present account executives with best programs, and bind coverage.Provide training and guidance to new Insurance Advisors on the team.What You Bring -Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.2-5 years of commercial experience as an Insurance AdvisorLevel 2 insurance license is required.Good communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills.Superior client service, presentation and interpersonal skills.Motivated to contribute within a team environment.The employment offer is contingent upon completion of a successful background check.Your future with HUB -Choose a career with HUB International and take the first step toward creating a future that combines a diverse, challenging work environment with financial security and career satisfaction.
