Job Description

Wilco Contractors NW Inc. is looking for experienced Concrete Workers to join our team. This is seasonal work, working Monday to Saturday (weather permitting) 8 to 12 hour days. The ideal candidate will have some basic construction experience, ability to work basic hand-tools, be strong, energetic, and posses the ability to follow directions easily.QualificationsThe successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Five plus years of concrete industry experience.
  • Knowledge of ground works and base requirements
  • Experience with concrete forming and finishing
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to handle difficult issues in a positive way such as deadlines
  • Ability to work in both a team and individual environment
  • Additional experience in paving stone, retaining wall and woodwork is an asset
Work SettingOutdoors - Parks, Road ways, Recreation sites, Landscape contractor, Sports fields, Private residences.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $25.00-$30.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 12 hour shift
  • Weekends
Experience:
  • Concrete Finishing: 1 year (preferred)
  • skidsteer: 1 year (preferred)
  • Concrete Forming: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • drivers license (required)
