Reporting to the Manager, Clinical System Support, the Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sustainment and ongoing operations of clinical information systems within Covenant Health (COV) facilities. The Coordinator demonstrates leadership and expertise in the development, deployment, and adoption of clinical information systems (CIS), such as Connect Care, in support of the Covenant Health strategic and operational priorities. Using facilitation skills and strong working knowledge of CIS related systems, processes, and practices, the Coordinator collaborates closely with key stakeholders and partners, such as AHS Information Technology staff, to design/build/maintain clinical content within current and future organizational CIS applications. In this role, the Coordinator acts as the translator for the needs of the patients/clinicians/organization in the utilization of the CIS technology to improve clinical care. The Coordinator is integral to the testing, monitoring and auditing of system functionality and optimization of end-user experience. They use their in depth understanding of clinical operations to enable integration and optimization of the features of CIS applications into clinical workflows at the point of care.
