In order to ensure your application is received by NAIT for thorough review and consideration, please apply directly through our Careers site at www.nait.ca/careersReporting to the (Interim) Manager, Curriculum Development in Corporate and Continuing Education, this position provides development, production, and administrative support to the department and its respective management teams in their efforts to design, develop, administer, and evaluate non-credit courses, micro-credentials, and programs effectively and efficiently. The main aspect of this position is to support curriculum development and the development of curriculum resources including course outlines, course descriptions, learner workbooks, instructor guides, and online course sites.Duties will involve working in consultation with Curriculum Development Leads (CDLs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), multimedia developers, instructors, staff, curriculum committees, and NAIT management to assist in creating and updating learning resources. This position also requires working collaboratively with accreditation bodies (related to specific program/course areas), to ensure curriculum meets accreditation standards. Editing, reviewing, and proof-reading course materials are also components of this position. This role requires the person to be proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS) as they will need to create and/or upload all new course resources to that platform. Understanding the requirements of Outcome-Based Education and Competency-Based Education and Assessment is required.Key Responsibilities:
