Our extensive product portfolio ranges from commodity products like hammer unions and needle valves, to highly engineered products like API 6D trunnion mounted ball valves.ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYRole ProfilePosition: Customer Sales and Service RepJob Location: Edmonton, ABOperating Business: ERIKS CNC Flow ControlJob Type: Full-timeStatus: Non-ExemptSummary of the RoleThe Customer Sales and Service Representative’s primary role is to promote and sell the Company products in order to help achieve revenue and margin growth objectives.Responsibilities

  • Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
  • When training is completed will partner with Account Managers to provide sales quotes
  • Processes incoming inquiries into company sales system
  • Quotes customers using working knowledge of product
  • Successfully achieves budgeted Service Center sales goals
  • Manages Work Order process on behalf of ISR Team
  • Monitors delivery date commitments and expedites where appropriate for all local vendors
  • Builds and maintains strong internal and external relationships
  • Must liaise effectively and professionally between the sales and warehouse team
  • Maintain detailed records of all project status to meet 100% OTD target
  • When training is completed will provides technical/service support to account management, service center management and internal and external customers
  • Effectively manage fast paced telephone and email order desk responsibilities
Skills and Abilities
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, highly organized
  • Ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Requires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure
  • Must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, internet and e-mail
  • Must be able to successfully utilize the company software
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial inside sales or customer service preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • PC proficiency, customer relationship management tools.
