Job Description

SmileSonica Inc. (www.smilesonica.com) is a growing, award-winning, and innovative ISO 13485 and MDSAP-certified medical device designer, manufacturer, and distributor located in Edmonton, Alberta with global sales in Canada and Europe. With our success, growth, and commitment to integrity and innovation, we are seeking a professional-driven Customer Service Coordinator to join our passionate and results-driven team.As SmileSonica’s Customer Service Coordinator you will be:

  • Answering inbound calls, responding to emails and other communication platforms, creating sales inquiries in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), being the “voice of the clinic/patient” and responding in a pleasant, courteous, professional, and well-informed manner.
  • Providing timely and proficient support for our customers (dental professionals) and patient communications including product and software inquires, diagnosing/troubleshooting, maintaining and closing inquiries, making recommendations, and assigning/escalating to the appropriate level and team member(s) in accordance with established operating procedures and accurately completing the appropriate documents for each call/email/transaction/inquiry.
  • Building, organizing, coordinating, and maintaining our creative assets including a library of graphics, media, digital records, and other enterprise content for social media and offline marketing.
  • Support field sales including product, software, shipment, sales order, customer application inquiries, and creating sales and customer service reports and make adjustments as needed.
  • In coordination with Sales, provide support to our customer onboarding process including customer application processing, clinic setup on Ordering System, product and software training, and coordinating co-marketing activity.
  • Responsible for the SmileSonica Concierge service including connecting potential patients with certified providers through our online consultation and provider locator services.
  • Performing additional duties as required by the job function.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of Customer Service experience.
  • Dental or medical experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work independently and adapt to change, and as a team member in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong analytic, written, listening, comprehension, articulation, and verbal communications skills; ability to explain technical concepts and synthesize information from numerous sources; excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience and understanding of Social Media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Driven and proven record.
