Our values of tenacity, caring, and curiosity guide our attitudes and actions each day.The RoleShowbie is looking for a Customer Support representative (Contract) who will support our end-users for both the Showbie App and Socrative App. This role is a part time, contract position starting immediately. We have a passion for education and show it by providing excellent support to the millions of teachers and students who use our products. We are looking for an individual who has either a background in education and/or strong customer service experience.This role will primarily support our North American markets and as such the successful candidate must be located in either the EST, CST, MT, or PST time zones:

  • Starts immediately
  • 20 - 30 Hours a week with flexibility
  • Flexible shifts available Monday - Sunday in four hour increments 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. MT preferred
  • Hourly compensation of $15-20 USD
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personable and effective support to our end-users ensuring that they are successful in using Showbie & Socrative
  • Investigate, identify, and triage challenges or bugs encountered by schools, teachers, students, and parents
  • Resolve simple technical product issues
  • Spot trends in user issues to flag for the wider team
  • Follow-up to ensure timely issue resolution
  • Attend weekly training & team meetings as required
You
  • Excellent writing communication skills
  • Experience using a chat-based customer support tool (we use Intercom)
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally remotely
  • Fluent in English (any other languages is a bonus!)
  • Proven ability to work autonomously
