Position Description:The Data Architect will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our client’s data infrastructure for selected projects. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience in data management, analytics, and governance. The Data Architect will collaborate across departments to ensure data is effectively utilized to drive business insights, optimize processes, and support decision-making for selected projects.Your future duties and responsibilities:• Responsible for all aspects of data management on the project, including enhancing data governance practices. • Create Data profiling, data cleansing and data migration strategies and plans. • Complete current-state data models, data flows, data mappings. • Create a data quality plan with business • Collaborate with vendors to develop an end-to-end solution architectures • Ensure integration between related projects • Collaborate and support external vendor during QA, SIT, UAT, Go-Live and hyper-care phase • May supervise others and play an important role in decision making.Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Certifications in data management or analytics (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, AWS Certified Data Analytics). • 5+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.Required Skills: • Experience working as a data architect designing and implementing enterprise solutions • Considered an expert in their field of data architecture, can manage complex assignments, and work with executives. • Demonstrates innovation and driving improvements. • Hands-on experience working on data governance, data mapping, data cleansing, and data migration projects • Experience designing, planning, implementing, and supporting enterprise data architecture solutions • Experience working in projects involving complex data integrations • Experience providing leadership, planning, estimating, and presentations of ideas and solutions • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirementsDesired Skills: • Experience with enterprise CRM solution implementations • Experience with Salesforce or MS Dynamics • Experience and technical knowledge of SQL server architecture • Experience and technical knowledge of querying data with Transact-SQL • Experience and technical knowledge of implementing a data warehouse • Experience and technical knowledge of developing of data models • Experience with cloud computing or big data platforms and infrastructure • Experience with enterprise business intelligence and performance management products. Specifically Cognos BI Suite, Microsoft SQL Server Services, MS Power BI (Query, View) or MicroStrategy SR: Microsoft BI Suite, Microsoft SQL Server Services, MS Power BI (Query, View), Tableau, etc.Soft Skills: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to make decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues, without formal guidelines or precedents • Industriousness and perceptiveness. • The ability to learn quickly, problem solve/troubleshoot, work independently and in a team • The ability to manage stress and conflict • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group#Li-AP1Use of the term ‘architect’ in this job posting refers to the technical sense related to Information Technology (IT) and does not imply that the individual practices architecture or possesses the requisite license as prescribed by the applicable provincial or territorial architect regulator.
