Data Integration AnalystOn behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Data Integration Analyst -for a 1 year contract working hybrid in Edmonton.Data Integration Analyst- ResponsibilitiesProviding technical expertise and consultative work involving all phases of research, feasibility, design, development, implementation and support of the data warehouse, data marts and administration of the Informatica data integration suite. Work with business analysts to identify and understand source data systems. Map source system data to data warehouse models. Develop and test data integration processes. Define and capture metadata and rules associated with data integration processes. Adapt data integration processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements Be part of a team that is a technology leader in data integration processes, products, knowledge of 3GL/4GL programming languages and data integration products. Providing daily operational support of the business intelligence environment including problem resolution, configurationamp; patch management. Creating system documentation including data models, systems designs and operational support documents. Working collaboratively with all members of the IT Branch to ensure that all application issues are addressed in a timely manner and that proper coordination is carried out to minimize disruption to the provision of IT services. Performing related duties as required.Data Integration Analyst Mandatory Skills Degree in a related discipline and four (4) years relevant experience OR Post Secondary Diploma in a related discipline and five (5) years relevant experience OR One (1) year related certificate and seven (7) years relevant experience (relevant computer certificiate programs generally have a minimum of 700+ hours and will include relevant course work to the position. Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade or GED is required). Work experience designing and developing warehouse solutions with Data Vault 2.0 using Wherescape is required. Work experience in data modeling and database development using Microsoft SQL Server, including data warehousing, data marts, and operational data stores would be considered an asset. Experience developingamp; implementing data integration standardsamp; best practices. Strong problem-solving and metadata skills. Experience in the following solutions would be an asset: Microsoft Power BI, IBM Cognos, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written skills with a strong focus on customer service. Experience or working knowledge of current public safety solutions would be an asset. Ability to excel in a dynamic work and team environment.
