As part of our growing Business Intelligence team, you will use your well-developed skills to build and support a cutting-edge data warehouse environment. Your work will help ensure timely and accurate business reporting to key stakeholders and strengthen the foundation for advanced analytics. You will be joining a highly collaborative, effective team where your input will be valued, and your work will be impactful. The company is growing, and the mindset is expansionary, with lots of potential for added value through data and analytics.Your Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure high levels of database performance, availability, and sustainability.Manage database access and security.Maintain database backup and recovery.Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix database errors.Create automation for repeatable database tasks.Develop and maintain DevOps CI/CD processesPerform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.Contribute to the ongoing development of the data warehouse.Contribute significantly to the constant improvement of BI practices and adhere to overall BI/DW architectureYour Capabilities and CredentialsRelated post-secondary education and industry certification7+ years of proven work experience in a similar roleAdvanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards.Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and MS Azure technologies.PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skillsFamiliarity with programming languages APIMCSE/MCSA certification is an asset.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and listening communications skills.Highly analytical, organized, detail and action-oriented.Apply Now!AutoCanada is a publicly traded multi-location automotive dealership group operating in both Canada and the United States and headquartered in Edmonton.
