Job Description

North Central Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Deli Clerk to join our team at our Hawkstone Food Store in Edmonton, Alberta. (18370 Lessard Rd NW). Open availability is an asset.Co-op does business differently.   • Provide prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service to customers at the Deli Counter
  • Package, wrap, and label prepared foods, meats, cheeses and other deli items
  • Maintain a display of deli products ensuring facing, filling and organization of products meets company standards
  • Monitor case temperature, clean equipment and workspaces
  • Other duties as required
Required Skills:
  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic approach to work
  • Efficient and accurate when working in a busy environment
  • Ability to handle all deli meats and products
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
