If your values are aligned with ours, please consider joining our team.Job Purpose: Boyle Street Community Services is looking for a Development and Design Coordinator to support the Development and Communications teams with graphic design creation, website management, and campaign execution. This is a temporary full-time position with the possibility of extension. This role will focus on assisting the Development and Communications teams with design for events, campaigns, and website development. This position will also support the ongoing, day-to-day work between Communications and Development teams.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:· Graphic design for events, campaigns, social media, and the Boyle Street website.· Supporting the creation, planning, and execution of Development events, campaigns, and projects.· Supporting the Communications team in daily brand management (developing social media, newsletter, and blog content)· Assist in cross-team collaboration and project management between the Communication and Development teams.· Manage Development content on the Boyle Street website.· Assist in Development tasks related to donor relations and reciprocity.· Other duties as requiredEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE· Diploma or degree in graphic or digital design is preferred. An appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered.· 1-2 years’ experience with graphic and digital design development.· 6 months to a year’s experience with Content Management Systems (especially Wix).· Experience with fundraising and donor relations an asset.· Experience in professional communications environments an asset.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES· Excellent design and art skills.· Knowledge and experience with a range of design tools.· Strong organizational and prioritizing skills to manage diverse responsibilities· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong, trusting relationships with all levels within the organization.OTHER REQUIREMENTS· A strong commitment to upholding the guiding philosophies, value and beliefs of BSCS· Enhanced Security Clearance conducted by Edmonton Police Service and Child Intervention Check· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is an assetClosing Date: October 3, 2022To Apply:Please email your resume and cover letter.Please include Development and Design Coordinator in the subject line of the email.
