Oil Country Towing is a growing company looking for permanent full time dispatchers/call takers.We are the exclusive provider for AMA in the areas of Leduc, Devon, Calmar, Beaumont, New Sarepta, and the Edmonton International Airport. Other areas serviced include Thorsby, Parkland County, Sherwood Park and Edmonton.We are looking for dispatchers and call takers with great customer service skills and phone etiquette to cover a variety of shifts including afternoons, evenings and weekends on a full time basis. Once training has been completed, the schedule for positions available are a 4 on 4 off rotation which includes rotating between afternoons/evenings and overnight shifts. Some weekends are required.Experience is preferred but not required as we are willing to train to the right candidates for this position.Knowledge of the greater Edmonton area and map reading/basic computer skills required. Must be organized.The suitable candidate will be responsible for answering many phone calls on multiple lines, dispatching multiple tow trucks and units to various locations, provide and meet ETAs and work on two different online based dispatch programs, as well as prepare paperwork and release vehicles. Requires multitasking and prioritizing. The suitable candidate will be able to work well as part of a team and take direction, as well be a self-starter and work individually.
