Qualifications:- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)- Must be able to work between 6:30am and 6:00pm, Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday- We are also looking for staff for overnight supervision of our boarded pupsDoes the sight of a dog in public set your heart to musical fancy If there’s a dog at a party, does it become your best friend and closest confidant until it’s time to leave Do you pause movies to check that the dog emerges from the film unscathed If you answered yes to these questions, you might be a perfect fit on our team.We are a dynamic, high-energy Doggie Daycare working from a state of the art facility on Edmonton’s east side. We also offer boarding, training courses, treats, toys, and other puppy amenities. We are looking for new members of our team to care for and love our furry and often slobbery guests.Our team members are:- lovers of pups of all breeds,- energetic and friendly people with positive energy and a desire to have a lot of fun on the job,- confident and motivated to work independently, as well as part of a team, and- not afraid of hard work, cleaning up after dogs (after all, they’re dogs), and able to handle whatever our weird Edmonton climate throws at us.Our work expectations are:- Supervise large groups of dogs at play, and use socializing activities to maintain a positive and safe environment,- Be able to read and understand canine behaviours; we have numerous team members who will teach you, and who will have your back,- Exercise the pups both physically and mentally, using various types of equipment and training techniques,- Clean and maintain the facility regularly to the highest standards of sanitation,- Provide an outstanding level of customer service to the human-folk on the premises, whether they be pup-parents or potential customers,- Be able to spend most of your shift standing and/or moving around,- Be able to comfortably lift up to 50 pounds,- Learn to process consumer transactions,- Have reliable transportation,- Have flexible availability during the hours we are open,- Learn pet first-aid (we will train you), and- Follow all company policies.If you feel this job might be a terrific fit for your skills and passions, and that you might be a perfect fit on our team, we would love to hear from you!
