Job Description

As a Dog Jogger with Dog Jogs you will be adding enrichment, excitement and exercise to the lives of many fur-babies!In this role, you’ll get to meet some of Edmonton’s cutest pups and cats, and know you’re helping their humans by caring for their fur-babies during the day. If you have a flexible schedule, love animals, and are able to jog- This position is for you.Your shifts will involve:

  • Driving to clients homes to care for their pets.
  • Jogging and walking dogs and visiting and caring for cats
  • You will also be responsible for scooping litter boxes, refreshing water bowls, feeding and administering medication as required.
  • Pretending youre a professional pet photographer on each visit. Our clients love getting pics of their pets, and so do our social media followers- We hope you like taking selfies, video and filling up your phone with cute pet pictures!
  • Sending detailed updates to the Pet Parents via our free app with some of those amazing photos you took.
  • Taking over our Instagram stories and creating reels!
  • Assisting with other tasks when needed such as: blog writing, content creation for social media, putting up posters, handing out information about Dog Jogs within the communities you walk in etc. Have a skill you think might be useful tell us about it!
Did we mention this job requires you to play with puppies and kittens tooHere is what we ask of you:
  • A minimum availability of 3 days a week between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday plus one weekend each month.
  • Canadian citizens or legally authorized to work in Canada for at least the next 12 months
  • Able to commit to this position for a minimum of 12 months
  • Over 18 years of age (due to insurance)
  • Have a smartphone with data
  • Own your own reliable vehicle and be comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
  • The ability to jog 6-10km in an hour (the average dog jog), PLUS walking 3-15km for the rest of your workday with the dogs.
  • Able to provide a current and clean police record check
  • Power through all types of weather including some extreme cold/hot temperatures (under safe procedures)

How Much Can I MakeOur Dog Joggers can make upwards of $1000.00 a month while filling their dog, cat, puppy and kitten-cuddling needs each week! The more you work the bigger your paycheque.
