Child Care Educator: Multisite FloatOne float position providing support to: Shauna May Seneca, A Blair McPherson and Jan Reimer. Shauna May Seneca would be the main locationThe Edmonton Region Child Care Association (ERCCA) is a non profit child care association proving care for children aged 2-12 years of age. We have eleven locations in the City of Edmonton and we are seeking an educator to work as relief for multiple locations.The chosen candidate will have a home base program with a guaranteed shift daily from 7-10am to 3-6pm. If needed the educator will be scheduled at one of the supporting locations for either the same shift or a full day shift.ERCCA is looking for an energetic, creative, organized educator who would enjoy playing, planning, and participating in activities with children of varying ages, working in a team setting.Key Responsibilities: Supporting ERCCA child care programs in the absence of an educator.Reliable transportation is required as this position can report to various locations.Plan, organize, document and implement programming inclusive of: indoor/outdoor gross motor activities, art, science, music, multicultural etc.Actively supervise children in care in compliance with behaviour guidance policies.Creating learning stories and utilizing the curriculum framework in day to day activities with children.Ensure children in care are kept in a safe environment, closely supervised, and all necessary ratio records and safety documentation is completed accurately.Communicate daily with families at pick up and drop off time.Be an active participant in our partnerships with our communities.Be engaging with children and support their engagement in activities.Be an active participant within a team environment.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.96-$19.34 per hourBenefits:
