Job Description

Join the Global LT teaching community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring English Language Teachers to provide customized in-person lessons to our client in Edmonton, AB.Job Information:Reference: 182167: Face-to-face English for employee, maleLocation: student #39;s home near Langdale Marsh, Edmonton, AB T6W 1A5•Availability: Tuesday and Thursday in the evening, Saturday morning •Preferred start date: As soon as possible•Lesson Frequency:2x a week, 1-hour lessons•Current target language level: High intermediate•Language spoken at home: Thai, English• Student’s language needs and goals: The student would like to improve his accent and pronunciation and build a more advanced vocabulary through structured lessons. He aims to be fluent and feel confident in day-to-day conversation. He is interested in public speaking, too.Responsibilities:

  • Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
  • Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
  • Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
  • Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
  • Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
  • Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
  • Minimum of two years of teaching experience
