Overview:Reporting to the Equipment Manager, the Equipment Estimator/Scheduler is responsible for preparing and issuing quotes to customers based on a described equipment failure and sourcing required specialty parts.Location: Acheson, ABStart Date: June 14, 2021Responsibilities:Provide quotes to customers as it relates to equipment repairsCommunicate details on provided quotes to the customer, including related costs and part/technician availabilityAssist in tracking/updating work orders, equipment repairs in progress, and any status changes based on part availabilityManage incoming and outgoing equipment to determine availability for additional repairsSource specialty or discontinued parts and maintain record of orders for future useReview all parts requisitions as requiredSet standards for labour estimates based on repair descriptionsVarious other duties as requested by managementQualifications:QUALIFICATIONSA minimum of 5 years of related experience, preferably in the heavy equipment and automotive sector.Vista experience considered an assetSKILLSAdvanced user of MS Office productsAttention to detailAbility to meet deadlines and multi-taskExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills
