Posting Closes: August 23, 2024, 4:00pm MST Employment Status: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.Compensation: $49,613 to $72, 869 per annum, depending on experienceYour home branch will be the one of the following locations (whichever is closest to your home) and you will be required to travel to the following locations based on branch need: Inglecroft and Kingsway branches in Edmonton, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Wabamun, Fort Saskatchewan, Lamont, Gibbons, Morinville, and Westlock. *Due to the nature of this role, interested candidates must hold a valid drivers license and own a reliable vehicle. Servus is growing! We are currently looking for a Financial Advisor to support our North Central District team. • Identifying opportunities to match members with the right products and solutions that help shape their financial fitness
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets and referral goals
• Participating and assisting in business development plans through corporate/branch marketing campaigns
• Demonstrating excellent communication skills and engaging members in conversations to finding out their immediate needs
• Developing ongoing knowledge of our current investment/retail banking services and products (e.g., mutual funds, underwriting, credits, loans, investment needs, etc.)
• Promoting referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking teams, and our 3rd party providers
• Building a comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends
• Adhering to all audits, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks of fraud or loss
• Providing outstanding member experience by adhering to Servus #39; best practices
• Contributing to Servus #39; unparalleled culture of teamwork, positivity, and collaboration
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to different locations, team dynamics, and membership base
• Maintaining Servus #39; positive image in the community

RequirementsTo qualify, you will need at least 2 years of retail banking or related financial industry experience, preferably in sales or customer service and a high school diploma. Although not required, the following education/certificates are valuable assets:

• Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
• Investment Funds in Canada Courseamp; License (IFIC)
• Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA)
• Financial Planning I (FP1)
