**This job is located in Invermere, British Columbia** Food & Beverage (FOH) – Front of House Supervisor We are currently seeking a Front of House Supervisor for Eagle Ranch Resort in Invermere, British Columbia. This individual will join our Food & Beverage department. Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to the Culinary Director – the Front of House Supervisor will help lead and direct the Front of House team. The right candidate is a natural leader, highly organized, detail-oriented, excels in a fast-paced environment and has a warm and welcoming presence.
  • Monitor and support the overall performance of the service team
  • Work well as a team player and always maintain a respectful and professional attitude
  • Maintain guest focus, ensuring guest feels welcome and acknowledged at all times.
  • Knowledgeable about the menu and wine list that is offered, make specific recommendations and answer questions
  • Always demonstrate a pleasant disposition and handle multiple tasks in a composed manner.
  • Answer and recover negative feedback or guest concerns
  • Assist with ongoing training program
  • Directly supervises daily lead hands, service staff and bartenders. Oversees and directs day to day clubhouse operation
  • To service banquets and event by following the BEO and standards of service set out by Eagle Ranch Resort
  • Assist Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing responsible handling of inventory
  • Coach employees on cost controls and implement best practices to ensure financial responsibilities
  • Follow all laws and company policy regarding the responsible service of alcohol.
  • Ensures that all standard operating procedures are in place and consistently utilized.
  • Ensure neatness and cleanliness of the restaurant. Delegate clubhouse server-side duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-year experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Food Safe level 1 & Serving It Right certificate.
  • WSET Level 1 Award in Wines and Spirits an asset.
  • Highly personable with excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/bar.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Energetic, proactive, and positive attitude.
  • Detail and goal oriented.
  • Excellent with guests.
  • Sales-oriented.
  • Must be able to stand and for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Salary: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour – Wages based on experience. The positions’ start and end dates are flexible. Opportunities to start as early as June and end as late as October. This is a seasonal position that could lead into year-round work. Shift work is required.
