Along with a robust grounding in their chosen disciplines, MacEwan students are given durable life skills that prepare them to take on the world.OpportunityMacEwan University is seeking an experienced individual for a full-time continuing opportunity as Functional Analyst with the School of Continuing Education. In this role you would be responsible for identifying and facilitating opportunities for the development and enhancement of different modules in the Universitys ERP/Student Information System to support the institutions Continuing Education programming. This is a collaborative and supportive role, as you would work with all staff in the School of Continuing Education (SCE) program areas, as well as the Office of the University Registrar (OUR), and project staff in the Information Technology ERP team.As a Functional Analyst, you will help facilitate future development work within the ERP/Student Information System and will work with the supervisor to become a subject matter expert regarding all system configurations, and business processes. This role serves as the SCE representative on various development projects based on the institutions ERP project priorities and plays a key role for the institution as a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Coordinator for all testing related to Continuing Education functionality in the Universitys ERP/Student Information System. In addition, you will support training requirements for SCE administrative staff and provide updates to program staff on the system, as well as providing input and guidance regarding the business processes and practices of other systems used within the SCE in order to ensure consistency and compliance with University policies and procedures.SKILLSThe successful candidate will have:

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of an undergraduate degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in business planning, system analyst, research and troubleshooting complex system solutions
  • Business process management experience is an asset
  • Proficient knowledge of PeopleSoft, Campus Solutions, PSQuery, other ERP systems, or relational database experience is an asset
  • Equivalences may be considered
