NPC Northland Builder belongs to Northland Properties and manages its construction and design scope. Position Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Utilize hand and power tools.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
  • Install, repair and service interior or exterior prefabricated products.
  • Work in conjunction with crew members to complete field projects or tasks.
  • Perform duties in compliance with company and legislation policies, procedures and health & safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties within the employees skill set, as assigned.
  • Assemble and erect scaffolding.
Required Qualifications:
  • 1 year of working experience
  • Experience in Carpet installation
  • Carpentry, general painting, plumbing and general construction are considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations would be an asset
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours/day.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Use proper lifting techniques for heavy items weighing more than 25 kilograms.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor weather and/or unregulated temperatures for 10-12 hours/day
  • Must be able to climb scaffoldings.
