Job Description

Description:E T is looking to hire Underground Telecom Laborers for our Edmonton office. The purpose of an Underground Telecom Laborer at E T is to work on multiple projects of various complexities, and perform on-site/outdoor labor functions to the highest standards of quality and safety for our customers.Responsibilities:

  • Work as a part of a crew
  • Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Supervisor, or Supervisor
  • Operate construction equipment
  • Handle physically demanding construction duties
  • Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, manual labor and shovel work, operate power tools
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Previous underground utility experience is a plus
  • Must be able to follow instructions
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach
  • Must be able to climb ladders
  • Must be able to travel
  • Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects
experience is a plus but E T will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety including tool operation and maintenance.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.00-$22.00 per hourAdditional pay:
