From seasonally inspired menus to dining experiences that will satisfy any craving, see what our chefs are preparing in our confederation lounge and our award winning restaurant, The Harvest Room.Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Work in partnership with the Restaurant General Manager you will execute the smooth and flawless operation of the Bar and RestaurantComplete all bartender duties when necessaryDevelop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparationDevelop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the barEnsure that all details of service are performed by the bartenders to expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service in line with LQA standardsTrain bartenders and service team to ensure beverage knowledge and service levels are to standardDrive cocktail menu changes to ensure fresh, innovative and seasonally accurate cocktails are available on the menuAssist with beverage procurement, beverage costingContribute to shift briefings as required as well as lead staff training sessions for all beverage productsComplete product requisitions accurately and maintain bar beverage inventory controlEnsure all bartender checks are closed and guest billing is accurateEnsure proper pouring, mixing, blending of drinks in line with Alberta lawMonitor bar opening and closing duties and completed daily to standard by bartendersExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesExcellent work ethic with a high degree of responsibilityAbility to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships.Preferred Qualifications and Skills5-6 years bartending in a luxury establishment.Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinksStrong commitment to serviceVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
