Job Description

We are looking for our next Security Supervisor at a premium high profile site downtown Edmonton. If you are a self starter, ambitious, upbeat, and looking for a long-term career, you have picked the right position!Security Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Submitting daily incident and shift summer report electronically
  • Review all submitted team incident reports for quality assurance
  • Assist in the removal of unwanted persons
  • Liaise with client, contractors, tenants, local police
  • Review and export of CCTV footage using digital CCTV systems
  • Assist in emergency situations
  • Provide first aid and basic life safety
  • Train, coach, and mentor new and existing staff
  • Maintain site schedule
  • Provide quality assurance
  • Provide customer service and concierge services to tenants, guests, etc
  • Cover other possible positions when required

What we re looking for:
  • Valid Alberta Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid
  • Minimum one (1) year in security
  • Security Supervisor experience is an asset or at least several more years of equivalent supervisor experience
  • Moderate to advance knowledge of Microsoft office programs
  • Looking for long-term full-time employee
  • Ability to handle pressure
  • Able to work downtown and take transit if needed
  • Team player and be a self-starter
  • Leadership and mentorship skills
  • Must be adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship management and consulting skills in order to cultivate positive and effective relationships with client groups and key stakeholder
