Job Description

Overview:Corrpro Canada is looking for a temporary Human Resources Coordinator to join our team from Mid-November 2022 to mid June 2024.Corrpro, an Aegion Company, is Canadas largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any type of cathodic protection system for any type of structure.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the execution of HR services for Corrpro’s Canadian operations
  • This is the first point of contact for general employee inquiries
  • Support employees with general inquiries such as benefits, pay and development opportunities
  • Coordinate onboarding of new employees including pre-employment testing, arranging new hire and safety orientation, completion of new hire paperwork and creation of employee in HR system
  • Assist HR Manager with employee performance management and general employee relations issues, as requested
  • Support HR services such as processing changes, drafting employee letters, managing employee files, supporting recognition programs and reporting HR data
  • Ensure data integrity of employee data and provide analysis and reporting as required
  • Manage the tracking of internal programs (including the Certification and Designation program)
  • Organize, lead and document employee onboarding and conduct exit interviews
Qualifications:
  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources or related field
  • 2 years HR experience including handling confidential information and current knowledge of legal regulations, employment laws and best practices for HR and benefits plans
  • Experienced in handling stressful situations, multiple tasks with composure, self-motivated, focused, and works well independently while collaborating with the HR team. A positive outlook will assist with engaging your colleagues and encouraging morale.
  • Experience scheduling preemployment testing
  • Experience with complex spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as HRIS (WorkDay) experience
  • Exceptional team and internal customer service skills are a must
