Millar Western Forest Products Ltd.’s Spruceland Millworks division is looking to add a full time Office Administrator position to our team in Acheson, Alberta. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and working closely with Human Resources and Health & Safety personnel, this individual will assist in creating a safe and enjoyable work environment for all staff. They will be responsible for general administrative duties including, but not limited to: maintenance of physical and electronic records, including staff certification tickets, recertifications, and training courses; distribution of safety updates; provision of assistance to HR staff with, resume review/vetting and candidate bookings; payroll back up and time card review; and assistance with company event planning.The ideal candidateThe ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, well organized, flexible and capable of working professionally with staff, customer and visitors to the site. Working within a team environment, the successful candidate will exhibit a willingness to pitch in where needed in pursuit of company goals and objectives. Excellent communication and computer skills are required.
