Job DescriptionThe CIMA+ offices in Western Canada are in the middle of a large growth trajectory. This means new, exciting complex projects that you will have the ability to shape and be a part of. We are actively looking for people who want to develop their skillsets, take on new challenges, and advance their careers within the organization. We have an exciting opportunity for a Intermediate Industrial Mechanical Engineer who will join our Mechanical and Piping Team. In collaboration with the Energy and Resources team, this role will be called upon to assume responsibility for a multitude of multidisciplinary projects primarily in the Oil and Gas and Mining sectors. Initially this position will be taking a development role in the design of materials handling, pressure, process and piping projects across western Canada. These skills combined with excellent business acumen will be key in growing our Western Canadian team. Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate and produce various deliverables in line with the project needs;
  • Developing and producing design deliverables on a variety of industrial projects
  • Work in multidisciplinary project teams, produce and sign off deliverables;
  • Work with the department Lead to pursue new business opportunities with new and/or existing clients
  • Assist stakeholders in proposal writing and fee estimates
  • Collaboratively support business/operations through sound management of value, risk, content, communication, knowledgeamp; resources
  • Provide expertise in brownfield and sustaining projects
  • Ensuring compliance to Healthamp; Safety, as well as all other regulationsamp; policies
  • Developmentamp; implementation of budgets
  • Partake to site surveys
