Your Opportunity:Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Services Data Governance within Information Technology (IT) you will be part of an innovative team that uses best practices to support corporate data management service within AHS. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that works closely with Alberta Health Services (AHS) business leaders, end users, IT analysts, and project leads to resolve data quality issues, manage data assets, implement best data practices and improve data processes to increase business effectiveness and efficiency. The IT Analyst II will work with the Oracle Hyperion Data Relationship Management application that enables corporate services to manage its data assets. You will use your knowledge of Human Resources, Finance and Procurement to understand business data requirements and following best practices design and develop solutions that will meet both organizational goals/objectives and end users’ needs. The work will include both operation support and projects supporting master data management. You will also be responsible for defining specific business issues, while also taking a broad perspective to formulate detailed plans to resolve issues, and improve products or services. These tasks require strong critical-thinking skills, project management skills, an understanding of current business processes, knowledge of best practices, as well as strong communication skills. Business acumen and the ability to explain/translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good critical thinking and analytical abilities.
