Your Opportunity:Reporting to the Manager, Web Presence & Collaboration Services team, the IT Analyst II - SharePoint Administrator will manage and support the SharePoint environment including upgrades and patches, monitors performance, maintains system security, troubleshooting issues, makes recommendations for future planning, configuring and administering SharePoint 2016/2019 farms. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the OpenText/RedDot Web Content Management System (WCMS) farm as well as web application farm environment. Responsibilities include: Administration of SharePoint Environments on premise for various pre-production and production farms Work with the development/deployment team for SharePoint, web application and other web-based solution deployments. Work on the SharePoint Web Parts and Web Apps. Apply service packs, cumulative updates and maintain the farms. Perform typical farm administrative activities such as farm backup, restore, site collection creation, and user issue resolution. Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and conduct the Disaster Recovery Testing Participate in developing a process of continuing improvement for SharePoint farms, systems and procedures. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and systems requirements that meet business requirements. Contribute to the functional design documents, translate the business requirements into system requirements, create a prototype of recommended solutions, demo to the users, and implement the solution.Description:As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. Experience in managing of enterprise website and web application hosting, Team Foundation Servers would be an advantage for the candidate Microsoft Certifications in Microsoft SharePoint 2016/2019 Server administration & configuration is preferred Familiarly with ITIL Incident and Change Management Procedures in an enterprise environment Experience in configuring all service applications and configuring SharePoint Security Experience in administering and managing of OpenText/RedDot Web Content Management System (WCMS), deploying websites and web application solutions in Windows web server environment In depth knowledge of release management processes In depth experience with Collaboration, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence.Preferred Qualifications:In depth experience with developing server side scripts (powershell, NodeJS, etc.). Strong working knowledge in Windows Server, Virtualization, Hyper-V, load balancer, and network infrastructure. Critical thinking, problem solving, attention to performance, scalability, reliability, availability at the system and component level. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations & multiple projects. Ability to work On Call.
