Your Opportunity:The IT Analyst II-WellSky is a key member of the implementation and support team that is responsible for oversight, development, and facilitation of successful rollouts of the Transfusion Medicine application WellSky Transfusion. They will be working closely with the Transfusion Medicine Laboratory staff and the WellSky vendor to configure and build the WellSky Transfusion application for future waves as well as support users who have currently implemented WellSky Transfusion. They will need to understand the integration between WellSky Transfusion and Epic to determine impact of transfusion medicine changes on both the Laboratory and Epic Transfusion Medicine users. They also work closely with the Epic Beaker Transfusion analysts and Epic orders analysts.Description:As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in Transfusion Service roles in the provision of healthcare or a strong working knowledge and intimate understanding of healthcare delivery.
