Your Opportunity:Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Business Intelligence within Information Technology (IT), the Analytics Senior IT Analyst works closely with Alberta Health Services (AHS) business leaders, end users, IT analysts, and project leads to define application / business requirements, deliverables, timelines, priorities, and milestones of operations or projects associated with development of the Corporate Analytics application within AHS.Description:Working with modern analytics tool, the Analytics Senior IT Analyst will help create next generation of analytics platform for HR, Finance, CPSM and Operational Best Practice subject areas. The Senior Analyst will work with internal and external analysts to transition from legacy analytics, including data ingestion, storage and display of data. The successful candidate will also be responsible for helping PM to define scope of the project, major steps, work breakdown and effort estimate. In addition, these tasks require strong critical-thinking skills, project management skills, an understanding of current and future application / business processes, knowledge of best practices, as well as strong communication skills. The successful candidate will work independently and with minimum guidance to resolve complex application and business issues.
