We are seeking Concrete Labourers for our Municpal Divison to start immediately for the 2021 season. Work is located in Edmonton and surrounding area. We are looking for hardworking, dedicated individuals who enjoy working as a team.What is the roleThe Concrete Labourer is an entry level position, performing a broad array of routine tasks needed to ensure day to day operations run smoothly.Load, unload and move construction materials around the work-site;Dig and fill holes where heavy equipment is not practical;Level asphalt to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel;Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites;Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed;Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labour;Follow appropriate safety procedures for pouring concreteClean work site of any tools, debris and equipment;QualificationsWhat we valueExperience working as a general labourer preferredExperience in concrete construction with experience in gravel base prep would be considered an assetReliable transportation is requiredAble to work long hours in all weather conditionsOvertime and weekend work is requiredAble to sucessfully meet pre-employment requirermentsWhat we offerCompetitive wagesExtended health/dental benefitsCOVID-19 considerations:To keep our employees safe, we have implemented weekly COVID-19 questionnaires, social distancing requirements, and providing necessary PPE for employees.
