Our office is located only 15 min away from the Jasper National Park East Gates. We are inviting you to relocate to Hinton for an adventurous and enriching lifestyle for you and your family.To find out more, click here: https://theevergreensfoundation.com/about/ABOUT THE ROLEWe are currently seeking a Lodge Administrator who is looking to make a difference in the community while leading a passionate and a talented team. You will be managing all aspects of the facility, including but not limited to, Health & Wellness, Hospitality Services, Food & Beverage services, People Management, Quality Assurance, Safety & Security, and Financial Management.Main Duties:
  • Ensure a clean, safe, pleasant, harmonious, respectful & comfortable environment is provided for residents, staff, contracted service providers, volunteers, and visitors.
  • Ensure compliance to organizational, lodge, and positional areas of accountability, policies, processes, & procedures, within Government and Foundation Standards and the Union Collective Agreement
  • Ensure 24-7 coverage by trained and qualified staff
  • Motivate staff to achieve lodge and organizational goals and celebrate successes
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR/QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years of leadership and management experience
  • Strong experience in managing large teams including facility operations, culinary and housekeeping staff members
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills along with an empathetic personality
  • Previous experience of working in a unionized environment would be valuable
  • Experience in senior housing, healthcare, and/or the hospitality industry would be an asset
