Keyera Career OpportunityJob Type:PermanentTHE POSITION:The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and reliability of Keyeras Isooctane Plant which includes leading a large cross functional group of employees.RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Fosters a maintenance team safety culture through training, addressing safety issues, and building strong employee personal accountability.
• An Ambassador of Keyera’s Cultural Behaviors and is conversant in their application in all actions.
• Fosters a culture that continually improves overall reliability, quality and minimizes rework.
• Develops teams through the establishment of goals within the ADR process.
• Fosters an environment of self- development to provide organizational strength, individual growth, and succession strategies within the organization
• Provides coaching and mentoring through informal as well as the formal performance review process to effectively communicate and manage employee performance. Takes lead and collaborates effectively with Human Resources for all employee issues.
• Responsible for assuring all company policies, rules and guidelines are being followed and administered in a fair and consistent manner.
• Accountable for closing gaps and ensuring the standards within Keyera’s Operational Excellence program are met.
• Establishes, owns and tracks all key maintenance performance indicators (KPIs) that relate to the maintenance function within the facility.
• Strong command of plant reliability and maintenance processes and mechanical integrity principles.
• Develops the facilities maintenance and reliability budget and makes the course corrections needed to meet the facility goals.
• Ensures the maintenance systems, process, tools and personnel deliver the requirements in Keyera’s Integrity Management System (IMS).
• Develop and execute long -term reliability program and capital strategy to meet business plan goals.
• Leads the maintenance team responsible for all plant physical assets including building, grounds, roads and storage areas.
• Responsible to ensure facility assets including; static and rotating equipment, tanks, electrical equipment, instrument and control equipment are maintained to ensure the safety and reliability of the facility.
• Ensure CMMS (Maximo) is effectively utilized for the management and documentation of facility maintenance work and asset history.
• Develop and execute annual engineering and maintenance plans and budgets in alignment with business plan objectives.
• Ensures the planning and execution of the facility turnaround meet all goals which include HSE, cost, schedule, and excellent workmanship Works with SCM to ensure systems are in place and managed for qualified vendors, inventory is managed, and critical spare parts are available when needed.
• Instills pride in work at the facility and maintains high facility housekeeping standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years of demonstrated maintenance & reliability experience within a strong Proactive Maintenance culture, with 5+ years in Leadership roles.
• Conversant in reliability principles and able to apply and champion their value in practical terms to all audiences (executive to floor).
• 5+ years’ experience in working in a planned and scheduled maintenance environment with a working knowledge of those disciplines.
• Conversant in key performance indicators and can relay their value in a practical sense to the development of effective Maintenance & Reliability programs.
• Experience with the project development, planning, and execution methods which drive to lowest lifecycle cost of assets.
• Demonstrated abilities in successfully leading change management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as a professional and courteous attitude.
