As the Manager, IT Services for our Information Services team, you’ll lead the team in the following disciplines: mentoring, leadership development, and fostering a lean, performance-based mindset across the Services organization. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development of team roadmaps and strategies that align business and IT by working with organizational stakeholders.WHAT MOVES YOU

WHAT YOULL DO
  • Reporting to the Director, IT Operations, you’ll be responsible for contributing to AMA culture with a hands-on problem resolution approach.
  • Youll support business processes and the maintenance of quality standards and operational efficiencies.
  • Youll be accountable to and for the team capital and operating budgets.
  • Youll be responsible for highlighting areas of technical and process improvement for all areas within the portfolio.
  • Youll support and promote the development of self-organizing and cross functional teams and provide opportunity for team member growth.
  • Youll help to coach and facilitate a team of Desktop and Technical Support Analysts in identifying and overcoming roadblocks to achieve deliverables.
  • Youll collaborate with vendors and service providers to produce efficient and cost-effective technology that delivers on business needs.
WHAT YOUVE DONE
  • You have a related post-secondary degree or diploma (Information Technology or Computer Science degree is an asset).
  • You have a solid technical background, with at least 7 years’ technical support experience or at least 3 years experience leading IT support teams.
  • IT Service Management (ITIL), Microsoft (MCSA), Agile (lean, SCRUM, Kanban), project management (PMP) certification would be an asset.
  • You have a solid knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and network standards.
  • You are a decisive, team focused leader with progressive experience in developing and executing strategies and plans.
