We are currently seeking a Millwright to join our team in Edmonton, AB, Canada. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual with expertise in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.As a Millwright at New Hope Employment Agency, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. This includes conducting inspections, performing troubleshooting, and ensuring the proper functioning of mechanical systems. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure maximum uptime and productivity.The ideal candidate for this position has a strong background in millwrighting, excellent mechanical skills, and the ability to work independently. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has good communication skills, and is familiar with industry standards and best practices.Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to address equipment issues
  • Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Millwright
  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
