Day in The Life

Performs daily monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of information security operations and incident tickets to ensure the maintenance of the targeted security posture.
Performs daily administration of security tools and applications; monitors logs and reports detected security events.
Completes regular testing of security controls and resolves issues.
Researches and executes vulnerability assessments and assists IT operations with remediation planning and implementation.
Works with the cybersecurity team to follow up on audit findings and corrective action activities.
Contributes to incident management and response and helps with the creation of security policies and procedures
Creates and maintains security documentation and records.
Assists in the planning and completion of security and technology-centric projects.
Other duties as assigned.

Special RequirementsYou Have:

Studying in Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to learn new skills with minimal guidance
Knowledge of best practices in developing security standards and processes
Basic understanding of enterprise networking and related security processes
Some experience with Windows/Linux/Unix/MacOS operating systems architecture
Solid team player with a "can do" attitude.
Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Understanding and ability to communicate and work with security concepts and solutions.
Must secure and maintain appropriate airport security clearance and acceptable criminal record checks.
