Job Description

**A Cover Letter must be submitted along with your resume to be considered for this position.Solace Psychology is a busy private practice in Ellerslie, South Edmonton. We are passionate about providing quality, evidence-based psychological care to our clients, ages 2 and up. In addition to supporting children and adults, we offer couple and family counselling, as well as process-based and psycho-educational groups. With our calming environment and caring staff, Solace Psychology is a place of comfort, growth and hope.JOB SUMMARY: The ideal candidate will provide excellent client care and clinician support, including:

  • Completing opening and closing tasks for the clinic
  • Greeting clients
  • Handling intake calls
  • Handling client inquiries via phone and email
  • Scheduling clients
  • Processing payment
  • Invoicing for payment
  • Creating files and filing charts in a confidential and secure manner
  • Liaising with other professionals
  • Maintaining basic cleanliness of the clinic
JOB TYPE/CATEGORY:
  • Industry is psychological counselling
  • Full-time, permanent
  • Monday - Saturday (hours vary within 8:30AM AM to 8 PM) - flexible shifts
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • You are self-motivated, organized, a quick learner, pay attention to detail, and go above and beyond for your team
  • You are competent with using technology, including scheduling programs, Microsoft Office, Windows, faxing programs, and payment systems
  • You have superior written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • You are friendly and professional; possess excellent customer service skills
  • You excel at working independently and as part of a team
  • You take confidentiality very seriously
  • You have a basic knowledge and understanding of working with people with mental health issues
  • You are great with children and families
