We #39;re currently looking for a proactive, financially savvy, and detail-driven Office Manager to support our growing team.Learn more about us here: https://www.alairhomes.ca/edmontonWhat You #39;ll Do:As our Office Manager, you #39;ll be the organized and dependable force behind our daily operations. You will support the leadership and project teams while keeping the office running smoothly. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greet visitors and ensure a welcoming office environment
  • Handling phone calls and emails with professionalism and warmth
  • Managing office supplies and coordinating deliveries
  • Supporting bookkeeping tasks, invoice tracking, and financial document organization
  • Assisting with project budget entries and financial reporting (training provided)
  • Scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars
  • Managing document control, data entry, and filing systems
  • Helping coordinate company events, team celebrations, and client presentations
  • Managing utilities (e.g., ATCO, EPCOR, Direct Energy) and vendor account setup
  • Assisting with onboarding: preparing keys, swag, workspace setup, and benefits administration
  • Tracking sub-trade compliance documents (e.g., WCB Clearances, insurance) and submitting DocuSigns
  • Reconciling franchise accounts, reviewing monthly statements, and preparing internal reports
  • Overseeing general office organization, cleanliness, and supply levels
  • Supporting permitting requests and liaising with city departments when needed
  • Acting as the key administrative contact for franchise accounting, scheduling, and compliance support
What We #39;re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of administrative or office experience preferred
  • Proven financial acumen - experience supporting bookkeeping, budgets, or cost tracking
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • High degree of professionalism and reliability
  • Previous experience in construction, design, or a related industry is a strong asset
