Home’s Pro is growing rapidly despite being in the industry for 4 years and we need YOU, someone who likes rolling up their sleeves and making things happen.This is the place if you want to be a part of something in its beginning stages with the opportunity to develop something of your own and grow lots!Job DescriptionWe are looking for a reliable operations assistant to support the operations manager with the management of day-to-day business items as well as assist the operations team. The operations assistants responsibilities include performing administrative tasks, assisting other departments as needed, and ensuring smooth daily operations.A successful operations assistant should be highly organized and have a versatile skill set to support a variety of different business functions with a diverse range of tasks.Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and maintain documents such as procedures, policies and forms for the Operations Manager to approve and finalize
  • Assist in training new hires
  • Facilitating and monitoring needs of operations in all branches
  • Create reports for various subjects and departments
  • Support the operations manager with the enforcement of company policies and standards
  • Validate and reconcile data in departments (inventory, equipment, etc)
  • Maintaining company databases
  • Assist in product claims, and purchasing processes
  • Support other departments and staff as needed
  • Perform administrative duties including answering phones, booking calendars, etc.
  • Helping with other items such as IT, maintenance of supplies etc.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift and carry products up to 50 lbs (23kg) individually
  • Knowledge in MS Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill and Google Suite
  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and bilingualism would be an asset
Education & Experience:
  • Preferred 1 year of experience in an office environment
