We are currently recruiting for an Outage Coordinator to work within the Spartan Valve & Actuation team. We offer additional benefits such as paid vacation and flex time and support continuous learning and career development opportunities.What You’ll DoThe opportunity is based on partnering with Key Customers to provide differentiated Valve & Actuation expertise to achieve mutual success and Customer preference. The role provides a motivated individual the opportunity to gain unique, real world experience working with Emerson/Spartan technologies while developing a Valve and Actuation skillset not commonly found in the market. You will be reporting to the Manager – Valve and Actuation Planned Service.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Single point of contact for customers during shutdowns and turnarounds
  • Schedule and Facilitate internal and external meetings
  • Coordinate internal sales and service activities, including quoting and orders
  • Track and provide equipment progress updates
  • Schedule debriefs after completion of customer outages and take an active role in implementing lessons learned
  • Triage and Prioritize valve and actuation scope changes
  • Coordinate pre-work, execution, and post- work outage activities
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Instrumentation Technologist Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Equivalent Project Management experience.
  • 3+ Years industry experience in an operating process facility is an asset
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • PMP designation is preferred
  • Experience in planning and maintenance
  • Experience in a Turnaround, Maintenance or Reliability Specialist role is an asset
  • Proven Customer service skills
  • Effective interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated and innovative
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic
  • This role requires flexibility and the ability to travel
