Job Description

We are looking for a Parts Technician to join our team in Edmonton. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated to maximize efficiency.Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintaining records of orders, the amount, kind and location of parts supplies on hand using a computerized inventory system.
  • Write work orders and track service work.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
  • Process incoming requisitions and distribute parts for internal usage.
  • Receive and sort incoming parts, clothing and accessories.
  • Help clean and maintain office, supply and parts area.
  • Work with Accounting department to formalize processes and ensure accuracy of inventory
  • Perform General Office duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • 2+ Years experience as a parts person.
  • Experience with Mitchell is considered an asset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (written and oral).
  • Solid organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Strong customer service skills on the phone and in person including the ability to remain flexible in continually changing situations.
  • General computer database knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Mechanical knowledge would be an asset.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; reach with hands or arms.
  • Frequently required to sit, occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in a shop environment with moderate noise.
