Job Description

We are looking for a crew of efficient, safety-minded people to aid our organization in our construction development. Here at Mid-City Construction Management Inc. we collectively work towards one core purpose: “Building a better community for all families".Responsibilities: · Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner.· Operate equipment according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.· Perform daily equipment safety and maintenance checks.· Ensure heavy equipment is securely stored and advise the onsite supervisor of any requirements for maintenance and repairs.· Perform other duties as assigned.Skills: · Have a strong work ethic and an ability to work in a team setting.· Able to always communicate in a courteous and professional manner.· Willing to work evenings, weekends and overtime when necessary (8-12 hour shifts, 5-6 days a week)· Able to work in all weather conditions.· Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.Qualifications: · High School Diploma/GED preferred· 2+ years paving experience preferred.· Parking lot experience is considered an asset.· Smartphone (iPhone 6S or newer or Android 8 OS or newer with 4GB of RAM).· Valid drivers license and own transportation.Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.In addition to providing a dynamic working environment, Mid-City Construction Management Inc. offers competitive wages and benefits packages.For further information about Mid-City Construction Management Inc., please visit our website at mid-city.ca or check us out on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.Thank you for your interest in Mid-City Construction Management Inc.
